Mystic Kingdoms Route

This is the definitive thirty-six-day Grand Tour, a sweeping, bespoke driving expedition into the very heart of the Himalayas, reserved for a maximum of twenty discerning crews. Following in the footsteps of history, you will journey along ancient trading routes across India, Bhutan, Nepal and Tibet, gaining privileged access to landscapes, cultures and spiritual worlds that few travellers ever experience.

Mystic Kingdoms revives the golden tradition of the original Grand Tour, elevating the classic and vintage motoring experience into a true art form. This is where serious adventure meets effortless, curated hospitality, a rare balance of challenging high-altitude motoring, compelling cultural discovery and evenings defined by warmth, comfort and elegance. â€‹Along the way, you will encounter astonishing scenery, remarkable heritage and exquisite local cuisine, each enriching your journey in ways both intimate and unforgettable.

Designed exclusively for couples and close friends, this Grand Tour promises a sophisticated and welcoming social atmosphere. Your accommodations are thoughtfully chosen to reflect the spirit of the journey, a blend of refined boutique stays and authentic, remote lodges that offer unrivalled access to the most awe-inspiring corners of the Himalayas. In certain regions, where options are naturally limited, we embrace the best available properties for their sense of place, cultural richness and extraordinary locations, making these nights some of the most memorable and atmospheric of the entire tour.

This is your opportunity to write a magnificent new chapter in your motoring story, one that will stay with you long after the final mile is complete.

THE GRAND TOUR EXPERIENCE

VEHICLE ELIGIBILITY

Our tours celebrate the very best of motoring, welcoming classic, vintage, collectible and prestige cars, alongside modern masterpieces. While we honour the rich heritage of vintage motoring, we also invite any vehicle that truly stirs the soul, from a cherished classic to a contemporary engineering marvel. If your car embodies elegance, performance or design excellence, it has a place on this journey.

CURATED EXPERIENCE

For couples or friends who would prefer to avoid the time, logistics and expense of transporting a personal vehicle internationally, we offer a carefully curated alternative. Selected 4WD vehicles are available for hire, allowing you to embrace the Himalayan adventure with ease and comfort. Availability is limited and additional costs apply.

ON EVENT SUPPORT

While mechanical support will be available throughout the tour, the ability to perform basic maintenance on your own vehicle is recommended. Should you require transport by truck, our team will assist wherever possible, though all responsibility, including associated costs, rests with the participant.

Your safety and peace of mind are paramount. At least one qualified doctor or paramedic is part of our experienced, friendly event team, ready to assist whenever needed.

NAVIGATION

Each day’s route is presented in a detailed tulip-style Road Book, complemented by an overview map, ensuring you can enjoy the journey with confidence and freedom.

TYPES OF ROAD

The Mystic Kingdoms spans a mix of paved and gravel roads, carefully chosen to balance adventure with comfort. We avoid rougher tracks wherever possible, though the mountainous regions of Bhutan, Nepal and Tibet can be subject to erosion, landslides and potholes, adding to the sense of exploration and remoteness.

HOSPITALITY

Your journey includes thirty-five nights of thoughtfully selected accommodation, with double rooms included. Twin rooms and single rooms are available for a supplementary fee, subject to availability.

Accommodations range from luxury hotels in India, Nepal and Bhutan to the exclusive, village-run lodge in Phobjikha, which, while simple, offers a rare opportunity to experience authentic local hospitality and the charm of this remote Himalayan valley. Each property has been chosen to provide comfort, character and unforgettable access to the surrounding landscapes, making every evening a continuation of the adventure.

Breakfast, coffee, lunch and dinner are included throughout the event. All dietary preferences, allergies or religious requirements will be thoughtfully accommodated with prior notice, ensuring every meal is a pleasure and part of the journey.
