We invite you to join us on the Emerald Isle Explorer, a fourteen-day journey through Ireland crafted for couples and friends who share a love of driving, discovery, and unforgettable experiences. Together, we will wind along captivating coastlines, navigate majestic mountain passes, and meander through peaceful rural roads, uncovering the timeless beauty of the Emerald Isle at every turn.

 

Along the way, we will immerse ourselves in Ireland’s rich history and culture, exploring hidden villages, charming castles, and iconic landmarks from the dynamic streets of Belfast to the vibrant heart of Dublin. VEHICLE ELIGIBILITY

Our tours celebrate the very best of motoring, welcoming classic, vintage, collectible and prestige cars, alongside modern masterpieces. While we honour the rich heritage of vintage motoring, we also invite any vehicle that truly stirs the soul, from a cherished classic to a contemporary engineering marvel. If your car embodies elegance, performance or design excellence, it has a place on this journey.

ON EVENT SUPPORT

While mechanical support will be available throughout the tour, the ability to perform basic maintenance on your own vehicle is recommended. Should you require transport by truck, our team will assist wherever possible, though all responsibility, including associated costs, rests with the participant.

Your safety and peace of mind are paramount. At least one qualified doctor or paramedic is part of our experienced, friendly event team, ready to assist whenever needed.

NAVIGATION

Each day’s route is presented in a detailed tulip-style Road Book, complemented by an overview map, ensuring you can enjoy the journey with confidence and freedom.

TYPES OF ROAD

Our route follows beautifully maintained asphalt and lightly gravelled roads, thoughtfully planned to avoid rougher surfaces wherever possible, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable drive throughout.

HOSPITALITY

Your journey includes fifteen nights of thoughtfully selected accommodation, with shared double or twin rooms provided. Single rooms are available for a supplementary fee, though availability may be limited in certain locations.

Our accommodations range from handpicked boutique hotels to refined historic lodges, each chosen for their comfort, character and privileged access to Ireland’s most breathtaking landscapes. Every property enhances the spirit of the adventure, ensuring that each evening feels as memorable and inviting as the day’s drive.

Breakfast, coffee, lunch and dinner are included throughout the tour. All dietary preferences, allergies or religious requirements will be carefully accommodated with prior notice, ensuring that every meal contributes to the pleasure of the journey.

DAILY ITINERARY

DAY -1

FRIDAY 16TH APRIL | BELFAST

Our crews arrive in Belfast, the charismatic capital of Northern Ireland. After completing scrutineering and documentation checks, we will spend the afternoon exploring the city’s highlights, including a visit to the Titanic Quarter and a stroll through the Cathedral Quarter’s galleries and pubs. In the evening, we will gather for a welcome dinner, providing an opportunity for our crews to meet their fellow entrants while enjoying seasonal Irish fare and traditional folk music.

DAY 1

SATURDAY 17TH APRIL | BELFAST TO PORTRUSH

The event departs from Belfast and immediately heads into one of Europe’s most spectacular coastal drives: the Causeway Coastal Route. Crews will enjoy sweeping views of cliffs and beaches as the route winds past Carrick-a-Rede, Ballintoy Harbour, and the iconic Giant’s Causeway. The day concludes in the charming seaside town of Portrush, known for its Victorian promenade, surf beaches, and dramatic coastal headlands.

DAY 2

SUNDAY 18TH APRIL | PORTRUSH TO DONEGAL

Today’s journey begins along the north coast before crossing into the Republic of Ireland. Drivers will navigate smooth, flowing roads with views across Lough Foyle. After a coffee stop near Derry/Londonderry, the route will sweep south through the Inishowen Peninsula before entering County Donegal. In the afternoon, we will enjoy an exhilarating driving experience through the stunning Glenveagh National Park before settling in for the night in the historic centre of Donegal.

DAY 3

MONDAY 19TH APRIL | DONEGAL TO SLIGO

Leaving Donegal, the route hugs the rugged coastline before turning inland through the winding roads of the Blue Stack Mountains. We will then rejoin the Wild Atlantic Way near the picturesque town of Mullaghmore. As we enter Sligo, famous for its vibrant music scene and literary heritage, crews will be treated to panoramic views of Benbulben. Our crews will have the opportunity to explore Sligo’s riverside cafés, art galleries, or the nearby beaches of Strandhill as we conclude our day.

DAY 4

TUESDAY 20TH APRIL | SLIGO TO CONG

On day four, we will showcase the enchanting landscapes of western Ireland, from Yeats Country to the lakes of County Mayo. The day includes leisurely drives around Lough Arrow and through the remote rural routes of Ballycroy National Park. Our journey will wind along the scenic shores of Lough Mask before descending into Cong. With its abbey ruins and forest walks, Cong is a tranquil haven and one of Ireland’s prettiest villages, where we will spend the night.

DAY 5

WEDNESDAY 21ST APRIL | CONG TO ADARE

Departing from Cong, the route winds southeast through Ireland’s rural heartland, revealing a landscape of rolling farmland, shaded valleys, and charming villages. We will pause for lunch overlooking the tranquil waters of Lough Derg before continuing our journey along peaceful country lanes and historic estate tracks, culminating in the heritage town of Adare, renowned for its thatched cottages and elegant Georgian architecture. The day concludes with an overnight stay in a luxurious country hotel, where a gourmet dinner will showcase the finest of western Ireland’s seasonal, locally sourced produce.

DAY 6

THURSDAY 22ND APRIL | ADARE TO KILLARNEY

Our crews will depart Adare via historic toll roads and country lanes leading toward County Kerry. Navigation is straightforward today, but the beauty of the drive is unmatched. Our crews will enjoy the mountain roads and lake views of the stunning Killarney National Park, where red deer roam and waterfalls tumble into mossy glens, with planned stops at Muckross Abbey and Torc Waterfall on our way into Killarney town, where we will spend the night in a gorgeous country hotel.

DAY 7

FRIDAY 23RD APRIL | REST DAY KILLARNEY

Today is a rest day, allowing our participants to unwind, go sightseeing, or explore the wonderful leisure activities available in Killarney. Optional activities for the day include golf, horse riding, or a traditional pony and trap ride in the Gap of Dunloe. Lunch will be at your leisure, with a choice of elegant cafés and traditional pubs in the vibrant town center. A casual group dinner will be provided at our hotel, with crews welcome to experience Killarney’s warm hospitality during the evening.

DAY 8

SATURDAY 24TH APRIL | KILLARNEY & THE RING OF KERRY

The event resumes with a spectacular drive along Ireland’s most iconic touring route: the Ring of Kerry. We’ll begin by skirting the serene waters of Lough Leane before ascending into the MacGillycuddy's Reeks, Ireland’s highest mountain range. Our route on this day twists through Molls Gap and Ladies View, revealing valleys dotted with sheep, as well as the ruins of ancient ring forts and medieval churches. Lunch will be in the colourful village of Waterville, followed by a visit to the enchanting Skellig Ring, which offers dramatic views of the Skellig Islands rising from the sea like something out of a myth. As we return inland, we’ll once again pass through the picturesque Killarney National Park before heading back to Killarney for the evening.

DAY 9

SUNDAY 25TH APRIL | KILLARNEY TO CORK

On this day, we will change our pace as we head eastward towards Cork along scenic country roads. Along the way, we will pass through charming market towns and picturesque farmland. Our first stop will be for a pub lunch in Blarney, where we will also visit Blarney Castle, home to the legendary Blarney Stone. We plan to finish our day early, arriving in Cork by mid-afternoon. his will give our group some free time to explore the renowned English Market or enjoy a leisurely stroll along the banks of the River Lee. In the evening, we will regroup to savour a meal featuring delicious local dishes.

DAY 10

MONDAY 26TH APRIL | REST DAY CORK

A well-earned rest day in one of Ireland’s most dynamic cities, giving our crews time to enjoy artisan shopping in Cork’s historic quarter or partake in one of the city’s many brewery tours.  Dinner will be held at a celebrated Cork restaurant, highlighting the city’s reputation as Ireland’s culinary capital.

DAY 11

TUESDAY 27TH APRIL | CORK TO WATERFORD

Departing from the vibrant city of Cork, the route heads eastward along the scenic coastline of County Cork, offering sweeping views of rugged headlands, golden beaches, and quaint fishing villages. We break for lunch near the historic seaside town of Youghal, where narrow streets and medieval town walls hint at centuries of maritime history. As the journey unfolds, the landscape transitions into lush, rolling valleys as we roll into Waterford, Ireland’s oldest city, founded by Viking settlers over a thousand years ago. Tonight’s accommodation is a historic riverside hotel, offering both charm and comfort amongst the cobbled lanes and centuries-old buildings in the heart of the city.

DAY 12

WEDNESDAY 28TH APRIL | WATERFORD TO WICKLOW

Today, we head northeast through the dramatic, winding forest roads and mountainous landscapes of the Wicklow Mountains. We will stop for lunch in the village of Glendalough, followed by an afternoon visit to the Glendalough Monastic Site, an ancient 'Monastic City' founded in the 6th century by St. Kevin. Our day concludes in Macreddin Village, a renowned eco-resort known for its comfort, character, and award-winning dining. This stop serves as the perfect opportunity for crews to relax and reflect on the journey thus far.

DAY 13

THURSDAY 29TH APRIL | WICKLOW TO DUBLIN

The final leg of our journey features a gentle and scenic drive through the rolling hills and wooded glades of County Wicklow as we make our way to Dublin. Known as the "Garden of Ireland," this region is characterized by its charming stone cottages, winding rivers, and picturesque vistas. Upon arriving in the heart of the city, crews are greeted at the finish line with a festive reception, celebrating the successful completion of an unforgettable journey across Ireland. After securely storing the vehicles, guests are transferred to one of Dublin’s premier five-star hotels, where an evening of luxury and relaxation awaits.

DAY 14

FRIDAY 30TH APRIL | REST DAY DUBLIN

The event concludes in truly grand style, with a day set aside for our crews to enjoy Dublin at their own pace. Whether you are in the mood for cultural exploration, boutique shopping, or simply soaking in the city's vibrant atmosphere, Dublin offers something for everyone. Stroll through the storied streets that once inspired literary greats like James Joyce and W.B. Yeats or visit the hallowed halls of Trinity College to view the iconic Book of Kells. For a more leisurely experience, riverside walks along the Liffey and the leafy paths of St. Stephen’s Green provide a tranquil escape in the heart of the city. High-end shops along Grafton Street, art galleries, and cozy cafés round out the day’s endless possibilities. As evening falls, we will reconvene for a spectacular celebration of this wonderful event. Guests will be treated to a refined multi-course Gala dinner highlighting the best of Irish cuisine. The night includes heartfelt speeches, shared memories, and a rousing performance of live Irish music, an unforgettable celebration of camaraderie, achievement, and the spirit of the journey.
